4.1 Construction preparation
4.1.1 Prior to the installation of the pump station, corresponding technical disclosure work should be done.
4.1.2 The drainage system in the construction area of the pumping station should be planned and arranged according to the terrain, meteorology, hydrology, geological conditions, and drainage volume of the station area, and should be adapted to the off-site drainage system. Intercepting ditches should be set up around the periphery of the foundation pit.
Before the installation of pump station equipment, it is necessary to study the installation drawings of mechanical and electrical equipment, determine the construction process used for the pumps and electrical equipment, and establish a complete construction quality inspection procedure and control measures during the construction process.
4.1.4 On site equipment, tools, and construction materials should be neatly placed at designated locations, and the site should be kept clean and unobstructed.
4.1.5 Before construction, construction signs and observation instruments should be buried properly. During construction, on-site observation and recording should be done well.
4.2 Pump Pit Excavation
4.2.1 There should be a pump pit excavation plan and excavation should be carried out strictly according to the plan.
4.2.2 The excavation section of the foundation pit should meet the requirements of design, construction, and stability of the foundation pit slope.
4.2.3 Dewatering measures should be taken at the bottom of the pump pit.
4.2.4 Adopt appropriate foundation pit support methods to avoid pump pit collapse.
After the excavation of the pump pit is completed, confirm that the on-site conditions such as the inlet and outlet water pipes and cables of the pump station are met before proceeding with the installation of the pump station.
4.3 Concrete Bottom Plate Installation
4.3.1 The bottom of the pit should be flat and a layer of 10mm thick crushed stone should be laid.
4.3.2 Concrete installation foundation can be pre constructed, directly poured at the bottom of the pit, or directly poured on a compacted layer.
4.3.3 The foundation bolts installed on the cement base plate should be installed before the pump body.
4.3.4 The cement base plate should be horizontal. The upper surface of the base plate must be polished smooth.
4.3.5 Install the foundation screws evenly and at different angles within one circle.
4.4 Pumping Station Hoisting
4.4.1 Use lifting slings to lift the pump station from a horizontal position to a vertical position. At this stage of work, the hooks on the shell are not allowed to be used.
When vertically lifting the prefabricated pump station, the force on the hook should be uniform. It is advisable to use lifting slings or ropes to protect the pump station and pump cover from being pinched.
Before placing in position, clean the surface of the cement base plate with a brush to ensure that there is no dirt or other debris between the installation surface and the pump installation flange.
4.4.4 When lifting the pump station, the direction of the inlet and outlet of the pump station should be consistent with the direction of the inlet and outlet water pipes.
4.4.5 The pump station should be installed vertically and fixed with foundation screws.
4.5 Pump Pit Backfilling and Compaction
4.5.1 Pump pit backfilling should be carried out after the pump station barrel is installed correctly.
4.5.2 The backfill material should be pebbles, stone sand, crushed stone soil, and sand, and the maximum particle size should not exceed 13-25mm.
4.5.3 Backfilling should be carried out layer by layer, and the height of each layer should not exceed 30cm. The compaction of the backfill soil should meet the design requirements and the provisions of 6.3 in the "Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Building Foundation Engineering" GB50202.
4.5.4 The backfill soil at the inlet and outlet pipes in the pit should be compacted. When the distance from the backfill layer to the top surface of the pump barrel is 30cm, it is strictly prohibited to use equipment such as rammers.
4.5.5 The acceptance of backfill quality should comply with the provisions of the "Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Building Foundation Engineering" GB50202 and the "Standard for Quality Inspection and Evaluation of Building Engineering" GB50300.
4.6 Debugging
4.6.1 Before debugging, the following checks should be carried out:
1. Whether the settings and installation are correct;
2. For pipelines that may generate vacuum, the vacuum breaking valve should have sufficient overflow area and the action should be accurate and reliable;
The valves on the inlet and outlet pipelines should be fully opened, and other devices should be in normal working condition.
4.6.2 The capacity, voltage level, and electrical protection devices of the power supply necessary for the installation and commissioning of electromechanical equipment should meet the requirements of the installed electromechanical equipment.
4.6.3 The commissioning of the pump station shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant national construction and acceptance standards, and shall be carried out in stages.
4.6.4 During pump debugging, the following requirements should be met:
1. Tighten the fixed connection parts;
2. The rotor and all moving parts operate normally without any abnormal noise or friction phenomenon;
The operation of the 3 auxiliary systems is normal, and the pipeline connections are firm without leakage;
The safety protection and electrical control device of the 4 pumps, as well as various instruments, are sensitive, correct, and reliable.
When the pump station adopts fast gate cutoff and there is an emergency gate on the downstream side, the automatic control linkage cooperation time should be adjusted to meet the design requirements of unit protection, and on-site operation and remote control should be reliable.
