What is the difference between a water film dust collector and a water film desulfurization dust collector

Water film dust collector is a dust removal equipment that can only remove dust from flue gas and cannot achieve desulfurization effect. A water film dust collector is a device that uses dust containing gas to impact the inner wall or other special components of the dust collector, forming a water film in a certain way to capture the dust in the flue gas and purify the gas.




The water film desulfurization dust collector is a dual effect equipment that can remove both dust contained in the flue gas and sulfides in the flue gas. It is widely used in various chemical industries and steel mills for the purification of pellet flue gas. It is a low resistance and efficient wet dust removal and desulfurization equipment and a novel environmentally friendly product for desulfurization equipment.




The working principle of a water film dust collector is:




Dust containing gas is introduced from the lower part of the cylinder in a tangential direction, rotates and rises. Dust particles are separated by centrifugal force and thrown towards the inner wall of the cylinder. They are adsorbed by the active water film layer on the inner wall of the cylinder, followed by water flow to the bottom cone, and discharged through the dust discharge port. The formation of a water film layer is achieved by several nozzles arranged in the upper part of the cylinder, which spray water tangential to the wall of the vessel. The inner wall of the cylinder is always covered with a thin water film that rotates downwards, which can achieve the goal of improving dust removal efficiency.




The working principle of a water film desulfurization dust collector is:




Under the action of a turbocharged turbulence device, sulfur containing gas undergoes enhanced turbulent mass transfer by rotating and diffusing at high speeds and absorbing the slurry. The process of mass transfer is to form an emulsified layer between gas and liquid, which not only facilitates chemical absorption and neutralization, but also keeps the liquid film close to neutral, maintaining a high and stable mass transfer rate throughout the entire process. Therefore, it is a very low resistance and efficient desulfurization equipment.




Technical advantages of water film desulfurization and dust collector




1. A scientific and reasonable water distribution device is crucial for absorbing and capturing sulfur dioxide and smoke in flue gas. The shower device is designed as an adjustable type, which can adjust the opening size of the spray according to the operating conditions, without blockage, with low resistance, and without strict requirements for water quality. It can also fully utilize alkaline wastewater such as boiler slag flushing water and ash flushing water to treat waste and effectively save water resources.




2. The guiding and relay functions of the splitter device generate strong upward rotation and impact forces when the flue gas accelerates through the splitter blades. The unobstructed central spray device sprays a covered absorption liquid under the action of pneumatic swirling flow. The gas-liquid collides at high speed in the reaction area, causing the droplets to quickly break and disperse, creating new surfaces. When the gas itself collides with the liquid, it also disperses, achieving full gas-liquid contact and efficient mass transfer in a short time with a small liquid to gas ratio, thereby ensuring high desulfurization efficiency.
