In most bioreactors, the microbial species are mainly bacteria, followed by fungi, and there are very few yeast.

The influencing factors of biological deodorization

For the microbial method for treating odorous gas systems, it can be seen from the aforementioned reaction mechanism that there are many factors that affect the treatment process. On the one hand, these factors come from the influencing factors of the mass transfer process; On the other hand, it comes from the influencing factors of the microbial growth environment.

For the biological filtration method, the characteristics of the filler play a crucial role in the deodorization effect. The specific surface area and porosity of the filler are not only related to the biomass per unit volume of the filling layer, but also directly affect the pressure drop of the entire filter bed and whether it is easy to block. The packing has a large adsorption surface area and a low air flow pressure drop, which is convenient for gas penetration and uniform distribution, low cost and economical.
